Industry background:
“With over 5 years of experience in the dynamic realm of social media marketing, I’ve developed skills in crafting compelling narratives and building engaging online communities. After completing my studies in Drama and Film Studies at University, I pursued my creative passions through voluntary radio production, podcast production, and social media marketing for a BAME creative arts agency. Since joining Together Films, I have been involved in marketing for film festivals and impactful film campaigns, working to bring social impact stories to audiences online and amplifying the voices of filmmakers.”
A Fun Fact:
“When I was 18 I went to Borneo for a month on an ethical school expedition where I was able to gain a full Open Water PADI Scuba Diver certification! I also lived in the rainforest for a week and during one trip to the toilet (a hole in the ground) I came face to face with a Komodo dragon – thankfully it scurried off and I was able to answer the call of nature in peace!”

“Titanic, Mrs Doubtfire, The Lion King, The Dark Knight – I could watch these films over and over and never get bored!”
Favourite Moment at Together Films:
“Human Rights Watch Film Festival London 2023 – this was my first time working on marketing a film festival and I loved it. It was incredible to be able to discover so many different films and filmmakers each with their own specific human rights theme. This festival is all about community and finding love in resistance – to me that is what we need to create change and tackle worldwide issues head on. Plus we had an immense result with sold out screenings and incredible feedback from the audience on the films and the post screening Q&As. Being able to work so hard on marketing the film to our UK/London audience and then to actually feel the love in the room at the Barbican, that was really special to witness.”

I’ve always found the power of storytelling through film and theatre a crucial way for society to gain a deeper understanding around issues and themes that during times have been hard to digest.”
