What is a brainstrust?
Braintrusts may go by many different names such as “Impact Strategy Meeting”, “Partners Preview Discussion”, “Stakeholder Meeting”, “Impact Partners Meeting”, but the goal stays the same – to engage partners and/or funders in an early conversation about the impact potential of your title.
Together Films can work with you from start to finish to ensure the smooth running of your event. Our team will help to:
- Conduct research to refine your Brainstrust guestlist (this can include partners and/or funders depending on your needs)
- Draft compelling invites for guests and send invitations
- Manage guestlist for the event
- Refine the perfect agenda to ensure that the meeting will be most fruitful. Topics can include, consultation on impact objectives, partner needs within the issue sector, opportunities for collaboration, upcoming distribution plans.
- Chair the meeting and introduce all guests to the aims and objectives of the campaign
What will the outcomes be?
- Consult with issue experts and sense check your strategic objectives – we believe that any successful strategy needs to be built alongside those at the centre of the issue.
- Forge early connections with those at the heart of an issue – often these partners will be your biggest collaborators when you come to launch your impact campaign.
- Strengthen the appeal of your campaign for funders – all funders will need to see that your strategy has been built in consultation with others in the space.
