Filmed over ten years, LIFT shines a spotlight on the invisible story of homelessness in America through the eyes of a group of young home-insecure ballet dancers in New York City. Guided by their mentor, Steven Melendez, who began his dance career in a Bronx shelter, these children make this aristocratic art form their own when they step from the shelter to the stage. The LIFT team contracted Together Films to assist with LIFT’s impact strategy, to manage LIFT’s World Premiere at Tribeca Film Festival, social media and to provide film festival admin support.
