In 2022, we were delighted to work with Zelda Perkins to support her campaign, Can’t Buy My Silence, to end the misuse of NDAs, around the release of awards contender, SHE SAID, directed by Emmy® winner Maria Schrader.
Two-time Academy Award® nominee Carey Mulligan (PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN, AN EDUCATION) and Emmy® nominee Zoe Kazan (THE PLOT AGAINST AMERICA, THE BIG SICK) star in SHE SAID as New York Times reporters Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor, who together broke one of the most important stories in a generation— a story that shattered decades of silence around the subject of sexual assault in Hollywood and impelled a shift in American culture that continues to this day.
Our team curated a special benefit screening of SHE SAID, followed by a Q+A with Zelda, Samantha Morton, Laura Madden, and Rebecca Lenkiewicz, moderated by Emily Maitlis.
They discussed the #MeToo movement, and how the misuse of NDAs continues to perpetuate sexual violence and other harassment and discrimination in the workplace.
We welcomed over 150 guests to the screening and reception, and helped raise over £15K of the campaign’s overall £100K fundraising goal on the night.
