It is bittersweet for us to announce that our Impact & Events Director, Rebecca Ashdown, will be departing Together Films after 7 years. Rebecca has been instrumental in the growth of Together Films with her expertise and enthusiasm in overseeing creative impactful distribution and events for social-issue documentaries. We are delighted to be continuing to work with Rebecca as she takes up an exciting new challenge with our partners at Sheffield DocFest.
Rebecca joins the DocFest team as Talks & Sessions Senior Producer and will lead on developing talks, panels and pitch sessions for Sheffield DocFest 2022.
Rebecca is a Creative Producer, working at the intersection of art, culture and social justice. Prior to her role at Together Films, she worked for the BFI as Events and Production Manager, as well as working at the BFI London Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival. She has worked with a wide range of arts, media and social justice organisations including Amnesty International UK, BBC Media Action & the Royal Society of Arts. She is a Birds Eye View Future Leaders in Distribution alumni, and a member of the Impact Producers Group.
Together Films are currently overseeing marketing and audiences strategy for Sheffield DocFest and will announce our new Head of Impact & Client Management soon.
We wish Beccy all the success in her next venture and will be welcomed with open arms at future Together Films events. Thanks for bringing the joy over all these years!
