About Together Films

Together Films are leaders in the Social Impact Entertainment space. We provide Strategy, Marketing, Impact, International Sales, Distribution, and Technical services to the film and television industries, and brands who share our commitment to social responsibility. We are based in London and New York, but we serve clients worldwide.

We believe that a film doesn’t exist until an audience has seen it. Our vision is a creative sector driven by collaboration, transparency and insight, to ensure great work gets seen.

Previous film campaigns have included the Oscar-nominated FOR SAMA, the Oscar long-listed UNREST; ROLL RED ROLL, BATTLEGROUND, TO THE END, CODED BIAS, THE 8TH and 2040. Our industry clients include the Human Rights Watch Film Festival, DOC NYC, Sheffield DocFest & the Athena Film Festival. Our work has been funded by leading partners including the Ford Foundation and the BFI.

We manage a slate of impact distribution campaigns for up to ten documentary films each year and we now are looking for a key person to grow this offering and manage a high volume of screening events for upcoming US-focussed campaigns.

About the Role

Together Films are looking for a confident, strategic manager to proactively run sales and bookings for events & screenings of all our impact films. The Sales & Bookings Manager will oversee lead-generation and the sales pipeline for service contracts across the Together Films impact slate, enabling an effective and efficient turnover of non-theatrical screenings and key events. We are looking for someone with strong commercial intent but also with a desire to do good in the world. You must be motivated by financial target-setting, have a love of systems, and be technically-minded. Your success in the role will drive Together Films’ global reach and expansion, as well as having a direct and positive influence on Human Rights, Climate Change and other urgent world issues.

With impressive pitch skills, the Sales & Bookings Manager will know how to best use tone of voice and their time to create the most impactful bookings amongst community and corporate audiences. Whilst the number of bookings and sales is a priority, of equal importance is how the films’ messages and themes can create positive societal change. With experience of building and maintaining strong partnerships, you will pro-actively seek out contacts and cultivate them, educating them about how impact screenings can work for them and can help them achieve their organisational goals. This will entail liaising with our Strategy & Impact departments on the film’s audience strategy, and designing and activating plans, converting inbound and outbound screening requests to live and/or virtual screenings, as well as managing cold targets and converting them into sales. You will be liaising closely with the Impact Team to book filmmaker Q&As and issue context events.

You will be familiar with CRMs, data-mining & social listening to find established affinity groups and you’ll be able to enthuse these existing fanbases and organizations to build excitement for impact films. Client-facing, you are brilliant at communicating success and re-strategising with the Client, when things aren’t working.
