We are delighted to announce the hire of Jess Reilly, previously Head of Sales and Acquisitions at Espresso Media International, as our new International Sales & Acquisitions Manager (Unscripted). The newly-formed sales division, which was recently awarded support from the BFI’s UK Global Screen Fund, is currently representing Sheffield DocFest opener TISH, and Naqqash Khalid’s IN CAMERA for international sales.
Jess managed the sales, acquisitions and marketing for Espresso, acquiring completed films and developing new documentaries for international pre-sales. Jess was responsible for acquiring hundreds of hours of award-winning documentaries and factual content and is passionate about inclusive storytelling and promoting stories which elevate diversity and social change. She led the sales and marketing of over 950 hours of finished content, many of which went on to sell to Netflix, National Geographic, Channel 4, ARTE, Peacock, Starz, Discovery, Sky, NHK, SVT and many more.
