We're hiring a Social Media Manager!

Together Films have recently signed on to work on some exciting new film projects and in need of a Social Media Manager to join the team. An immediate start, with a contract until Xmas (Dec 20, 2019), with possibility of an extension into 2020 for the right candidate.

Together Films is a Marketing, Distribution & Data Company based in London working for an international client base. Our clients include the Human Rights Watch Film Festival, DOC NYC (America’s largest documentary film festival), feature documentaries 2040, and The Great Green Wall. We are seeking a Social Media Manager who is adapt to working with small teams, juggling multiple priorities to ensure success. We are data driven in everything we do, and need someone who is as geeky on KPIs as we are.

No experience in film is required (although that is a plus), if you have worked within the NGO/Charity sectors you may be a great addition to our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Impact Distribution & Impact Marketing team to devise social media strategies for a variety of film campaigns.

  • Use your interest in social issues to manage the delivery of the social media strategy by drafting compelling copy, creating graphic content and engagement community online.

  • Deliver the voice of each film across the various social channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & LinkedIn.

  • Using our social media planning software, development a strategic timeline for communications, which can be adaptable as the campaign rolls out.

  • Keep up to date on the issue context in each film, to track trends and partners who should be engaged for impact.

  • Source campaign assets from the film team, partners and royalty free sites to activate compelling visual delivery across all films.

  • Source ‘topical content’ around each film theme to deliver a comprehensive view of the issue, in addition to general film updates.

  • Understand the KPIs that will show progress in the campaign and be able to articulate progress on a weekly basis.

  • Develop social adverts and manage the social media budget to deliver impact.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years experience of managing multiple social media campaigns. This could be multi priorities at a single organisation, or multiple films/projects as a freelancer.

  • Excellent copywriting skills and graphic design abilities. Evidence of this to be provided during your application

  • Experience editing photo / video assets for digital campaign

  • Experience with Asana (Project Management), Adobe Suite (InDesign / Photoshop) & Canva

  • Experience with Social Media Management Tools to plan schedules and monitor engagement

  • Comfortable with Google Drive tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
