About Together Films
Together Films is a Distribution and Marketing consultancy supporting filmmakers around the world through training events, labs and consultancy sessions. We deliver masterclasses for organisations such as Sheffield DocFest, EsoDoc, Documentary Campus and the NFTS.
We manage a slate of Marketing & Distribution Campaigns each year, which are guided by our method of Impact Distribution Strategy. This combines liaising with a range of partners to book non-theatrical screening events, running digital marketing campaigns and releasing full service distribution campaigns covering all rights in the UK market.
Previous clients have included the Oscar Shortlisted Unrest (Sundance 2017) & The Hunting Ground (Sundance 2015).
Current clients include The Tale (Sundance 2018, releasing globally with HBO in May/June 2018), Patagonia’s Blue Heart (running European screening engagement) and Human Rights Watch Film Festival New York (June 2018, Digital Marketing).

At a time of rapid growth, we are seeking a dedicated Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our London team full time for an initial 2 month contract, with possibility of extension.
Key responsibilities will include:
Researching partners in a range of territories who can be activated for marketing and distribution support. This might include Brands, Charities, NGO’s and individual influencers, who are interested in supporting digital marketing campaigns or interested in hosting a screening of one of our films.
Updating databases to ensure data accuracy across all campaigns. Working with our own custom database options to drive growth for all clients.
Updating reporting systems to keep across all outcomes and KPI’s for each campaign; including screenings confirmations, partnership relations, social media monitoring and other key fields. We can teach you how to use our custom tools, so we just need someone who is systems oriented.
Draft marketing materials for email and social campaigns. Prepare email and social content timelines. Create design assets using Canva.com (a simple version of Photoshop!).
Coordinate material deliverables to screening hosts / cinemas ensuring that all required materials are delivered in a timely manner. Manage inventory or assets and liaise with suppliers to order more DVD/DCPs/Posters etc as required.
Support the Business Development team to identify potential new clients, help draft proposals and research insight to help secure the pitch.
Arrange internal & external meetings, coordinate travel arrangements for senior management and support industry events.
General ad hoc administrative support, including diary management, office coordination, supplies and expense reports.
We are looking for someone with the following attributes:
With strong administrative skills, you will have an accurate attention to detail, using a methodical approach to ensure all aspects of a task or project are anticipated and dealt with.
Outstanding organisational and communications skills. Proactive, with the ability to work autonomously.
Experience working in a small business environment, where everyone has a vital role to completion. We are all hands on deck, and have to be adaptive to switch between projects at a pace.
You will have an excellent working knowledge of Google Sheets; Microsoft Word & Excel and Mac Keynote. Ideally have used the following programmes: Slack (Communication), Asana (Project Management) and Xero (Accounting). You will have some proficiency using database systems in the past.
You have an eye for design, to know what kind of meme could work on a clients page (!), and have skills in Photoshop / Canva to create great digital assets.
You are able to work to tight deadlines, potentially requiring the odd late night at the office, and embrace the challenge of solving quick problems as they occur.
You have work experience in film from the position of Sales, Marketing, Distribution or Exhibition. To stress, this is not a production role.
